Proper Instruction and regular attendance is necessary. Parents should call/email the office (914-738-0670 [email protected] for Grades1-5 and [email protected] for Grades 6-8) and the teacher to report an absence.

If a student misses five or more classes for reasons other than serious illness, he or she will have mandatory homework to make up for absences or will retake the class. No student will be excused for any sport activity during the hours of instruction. Students will not be permitted to switch days because of a sport commitment or any other reason. All students in modified sports are excused from their practices on a religious education day. If a child plays JV/Varsity, please notify your teacher and the office.

Lateness: Because class is limited it is imperative that students arrive on time for each class.

CELL PHONES ARE NOT ALLOWED TO BE USED DURING CLASS.

All Families must be registered as parishioners at OLPH-STC for their child to attend religious education classes.

If school is closed for any reason, weather related or not, religious education will also be closed and a blast email will be sent. If a class is canceled due to teacher illness or emergency, a notification will be sent via email.

Mass is a very important factor in your child’s spiritual development. Please take your child to Mass each week.
